 New neighbour

I'm almost sure that this lizard is stellion (Laudakia stellio). Or some very similar Agamidae:

Baby stellion lizard

He decided to settle down on the fence of our forecourt and it is good thing: there's a belief that lizards bring fortune to home they live in.
This is a very young specimen, about just 10-12 centimeters long; adults are much bigger, something like 30 cm. in length, and have heavier head and wider body. I've seen many of them in desert around here but never met them living near inhabited places. Might be nice to tame him, they known as friendly animals.

Hey he's a pretty cool character! Really like the framing in the triangle and that he's turned his head as if posing. I hope he sticks around and we can see some more, also that he brings some good fortune ;)

The linkwithin widget works well, I've noticed from my traffic stats that quite a few click through and look around.
