This strange mechanism is located on the dam at our local park. Looks like it's part of dam's mechanism although i can't find anything that resembles mechanical parts except of this one. A dam is built of rocks, so no moving parts there too.

Looks like parts are missing too, there must have been a gear to mesh to the exsisting one at some point in time. Still no matter, it made for an interesting B&W with some good tones:)
